“ Great people. Bartender was great. Good Friendly atmosphere. Thank you ”
“ Doc's is a Tybee institution, the oldest active bar on Tybee(since 1948).. The only place to play Bumper Pool on Tybee. Live Music on the weekends ”
“ A dive bar at its finest since 1948. We showed up at 11:00 a.m. our bartender Bama was hilarious. This is the place to go. And you can smoke in the bar!!!! Cigarettes or cigars. Very happy. ”
“ We stopped in Doc’s after visiting a few other bars in the area and having no luck with service. We stopped in to ask hours since it was fairly late in the evening. The bar tender was very sweet, kind and let us know she was going to close up whenever everyone was gone and we said thank you and let her know we’d stop by the next night so we weren’t keeping her. She immediately welcomed us in to sit and have a drink or two and was very attentive as we got to relax and enjoy some drinks. A few other couples came in and people were still playing darts. It was a friendly environment with the exact vibe we were looking for after a long drive to Tybee. We will definitely be back to Doc’s on our next trip to Tybee! ”
“ The mushroom and Swiss burger was recommended by a friend. Our friend was spot on, it was THE BEST MUSHROOM & SWISS BURGER I HAD EVER HAD ! Really enjoyed our "Bama" bartender too. He is very efficient at his job. ”
“ I'm a sucker for a dive bar!!! And this place did not disappoint; even the food was delicious. Joy and Bill were super awesome and we had a blast celebrating my birthday. Will definitely stop in if we're ever in the area again. ”
“ Our favorite bar on the south side of Tybee!! We loved hanging out with locals, GA residents and other vacationers like us at Doc's Bar! We did not eat here but learning bumper pool as we drank and socialized was a blast. ”
“ Great little bar within walking distance of the beach. They also have the best bar food on Tybee in my opinion. They have great bartenders who are very attentive and talkative if they have time! This is a staple on my visits to the island ”
